Method 2: Bolt-Down with Base Plate

  3. Installing and Securing the Metal Base: Align the galvanized steel or aluminum post support base over the drilled holes. Insert the metal expansion anchor bolts or chemical anchors, and tighten them securely using a socket wrench to anchor the base firmly to the concrete.
