How to Install

1. Subframe Spacing (Max 350mm)

Install your joists (wood or aluminum) on a level, draining foundation. Joist spacing must be a maximum of 350mm center-to-center to prevent the deck from sagging.

2. Lock the First Board

Screw Starter Clips into the edge of each joist. Slide the groove of your first WPC board firmly into these clips to lock the outer perimeter without surface screws.

3. Install Center Clips

Slide Hidden Fastening Clips into the inner groove of the board at every joist intersection and screw them down. These clips automatically create the mandatory 5mm side-to-side expansion gap. Slide the next board into place and repeat.

4. Manage End-to-End Joints (Double Joists)

Where two board ends meet:

• Must use Double Joists: Each board end must rest on its own independent joist and clip.

• Leave an Expansion Gap: Leave a 5mm to 8mm end-to-end gap so the boards can expand in summer without buckling.

5. Perimeter Wall Gap & Fascia

• Wall Clearance: Always leave a 10mm gap between the decking and any brick wall or solid structure.

• Finishing: Cover exposed hollow edges by screwing on a WPC Fascia Trim around the perimeter.

A1: Cheap composites use a shallow, repeating hot-stamp that reflects light, making them look shiny and synthetic. Our deep embossing technology uses a specialized matte-shield multi-tonal finish with deep, varying grain depths. This scatters natural light just like genuine timber, giving it a premium, organic texture. 

Q2: Why is a dimensionally stable profile so critical for large-scale outdoor commercial flooring?

A2: In large public spaces, thermal movement can create massive cumulative forces. If a material expands too much, boards will buckle, pop their clips, or warp. A dimensionally stable Co-extruded deck guarantees that expansion forces are tightly controlled, preventing dangerous trip hazards and maintaining straight, clean engineering lines. 

Q3: Will the deep embossing grooves trap dirt and make the Co-extruded deck hard to clean?

A3: Not at all. Unlike 1st generation wood-composites where dirt gets ground into the exposed raw wood fibers, our Co-extruded shield is entirely non-porous. Even though the embossing is deep and realistic, any trapped dust or mud stays resting loosely on top of the plastic shield and can be effortlessly flushed out with a garden hose. 

Q4: How does a dimensionally stable deck behave during a rapid frost or ice-melting cycle?

A4: Excellent. Materials fracture during freeze-thaw cycles because absorbed water expands into ice. Our dimensionally stable Co-extruded outer cap provides 360-degree waterproof protection with zero water absorption. Because no water can enter the inner core, the boards remain completely structurally stable and secure during sudden frost cycles.
